Need help in creating your pages ?
We want every presales professional, products and service based organizations from any part of the world to be represented on Presales, but we also know that many people on this earth (spl non-tech people) are still not aware of concept, so we decided to help such users. If you are new to and do not feel comfortable creating/editing articles, you can ask one of the volunteers on this site to create/edit your pages. You might find some volunteer on our volunteer mailing list, who can create/edit your pages.
Procedure for requesting to volunteers:
Do e-mail overview of content and your requirements to our volunteer mailing list.
Hopefully some of the interested volunteers will soon reply to your mail.
Choose one of the volunteers and communicate with him/her to provide relevant/ sufficient information to create/edit pages.
Note:
People who volunteer on Presales might not be professionals and are in no mean bound to create/edit the pages.
Volunteer might or might not charge for their services. Volunteers have to decide the terms of their service; Presales is not responsible for this.
Getting started
Find an article
You can search for an article using the search bar on the left or find a complete list of articles here: Index of Articles. Alternatively, browse through Presales's categories.
Create an account
If you want to edit texts, upload documents or create new articles please first sign up here: Log in/create account. Choose a login name and password to become a registered user of Presales.
Edit an article
Only registered users can edit articles in Presales, so first Log in/create account. When you are logged in you can modify a text by clicking on "edit this page". If this option does not appear on top of the page that means article has been protected. Want to practice your editing skills on Presales ? Why not start by modifying your personal user page ?
Write a new article
Only registered users can create articles in Presales, so first Log in/create account. When you are logged in, there are many ways to create a new article:
Click on an empty link in an article you are reading (these links appear in red)
Select an empty link from the list of all Wanted Pages (pages still to be created)
In an existing text, create a link to an article that you want to create
If none of these options works for you (i.e. your topic is not mentioned in any of the existing articles), you can create a new article by typing in the name of your topic in search box in the left panel. In order to avoid duplication, please make sure that your topic has not yet been covered in Presales. If you search for an article, remember that some authors may have used different spelling. Another way to look for already created articles is to have a look at all created pages.

General Guidelines
These are general guidelines which are not mandatory but are advised to follow for better management of information on this site.
Always try to categorize your article in one or more existing categories.
In case you are not able to find any suitable category, create a new category and place your article in it.
Make the newly created category a child of some suitable already existing category so that its easy to reach and browse through it.
